about
My name is Robert Dale. I’ve just graduated from the Broadcast Journalism undergraduate course at the University of Leeds.
At the moment I’m working as a full-time journalist. I am also helping on a few political projects with MP’s, the BBC, helpmeinvestigate.com, yoosk? and Catch21 Productions. My main focus in all of this is how social media can better connect what happens in Westminster to life out in the real world and in particular, how politics can engage with the ‘youth.’
I also co-run the social journalism resource-based website www.socialjournalism.com.
I have done work experience with BBC Leeds where I produced interviews for the website, The Independent for whom I wrote several original pieces that were printed in the newspaper, and I was the assistant news editor of the Leeds Student Radio station LSRfm.
I have also taught basic journalism skills at a community radio station and given presentations to university students on social media.
This blog is collection of all my recent political articles, HMI investigations and video interviews with interesting people.
